Low Step

The Low Step began in 2005 in Ruse, Bulgaria and originally included Alexander Slavchev (guitars), Svetoslav Nedelchev (bass), Deyan Iliev (drums) and Teodor Petkov (piano) as a Progressive and Acid Jazz cover band.
In 2009 the project was reformed into a trio (gutars, bass and drums) as the first original track Black and Red was released. This set the ultimate band’s style: Smooth / Soulful / RnB Jazz. Soon after came the recordings of Get Lazy and Night Trip.
In 2011 the band was joined by Marin Bozev (saxophone) and Mihail Antonov (piano). With that formation the single Yellow Groove was released. Low Step’s desire is to throw some fresh light on the Bulgarian music scene. The boys are to release their new album, so news will be coming soon.
